Dr Stuart Psychologists - who are we?
DSP is a UK based psychology service. We work with adults, teenagers, children and couples providing high quality therapy for mild to moderate mental health problems. We match potential referrals with psychologists' expertise, training, and preference. Perhaps you are considering leaving the NHS, perhaps you are thinking of combining your NHS career with a private practice, or perhaps you have been a private therapist for a while and want to build your practice. What we offer
What we offer:
Most of our referrals use private health insurance and so pay varies. Please be in touch for the pay scales.

Bupa pay £110 for a psychologist based outside of London and £120 for a inner London psychologist.

Other insurance companies will cover our general fee which is £200 for online therapy and £250 for inner London face to face treatment.

The referral charge is 10% of the fee. We take 50% of the first sessions fee to help us cover costs.

We organise all the administration prior to the first appointment.

Should you require help setting up as a private psychologist, we can help to navigate you through this process.
We are looking for:

Clinical or counselling psychologists who have completed a doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology in the UK or have the equivalent doctoral level training.

HCPC registered practitioner psychologists.

Individuals who have worked for at least 10 years providing psychological therapy to clients.

UK based psychology practice.

Clinic in London and the surrounding areas. We require clinics to be of a high standard.

Or a professional video conferencing set up. We require video conferencing spaces to be equal to a clinic space of a high standard.

Eligibility for recognition as a psychologist with all UK health insurance companies. Bupa require 1 years full time or 3 years part-time post doctoral training experience.

Post/Pre-doctoral training in a particular therapy or therapies.

Someone who already has their own private practice or is happy to set up on their own.
Responsibilities
We are looking for individuals who can work with a variety of presenting problems, are warm, approachable, professional, and organised. Ideally you will have a grounding in CBT but work alongside other therapeutic modalities, as many of the enquiries we get are looking for practical solutions alongside an exploration of difficulties. We are looking for psychologists experienced in treating a variety of presentations including anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, health anxiety, stress and burnout and couples counselling with recognised evidenced based treatment programs.
